6 Year Old Allowed To Trick Or Treat Alone Because Mom Stayed Home Sick!!

Jessica Anne King, 38, told police she let the boy go alone because she was sick, an arrest report said. She was arrested on a charge of child neglect and booked into the Orange County Jail.
King has since been released after posting bail.
She declined to comment when reached by phone.
According to the arrest report, a man and woman found the boy about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, dressed like an astronaut and wandering alone about a half-mile from his home on Nicoma Trail.
The boy knew his address, but not how to get there. He told the adults that he had been out by himself “since the sun was out” and his mom was at home “resting,” according to the report.
