Tow Truck Driver Arrested On Drunken Driving Charge While Responding To OUI Arrest!

BARNSTABLE, MASS. (WHDH) – A tow truck driver who was responding to an OUI arrest on Cape Cod early Saturday morning was arrested himself after police say he was found to be drunk behind the wheel.
A motor vehicle stop about 2:20 a.m. on Route 28 in Barnstable resulted in the arrest of Patricia O’Donnell, 51, of Marston Mills, on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor, according to a press release issued Monday by Massachusetts State Police.
After requesting a tow truck to take away O’Donnell’s vehicle, state police say the driver of the Capeway Towing truck that arrived, Brandon Fenton, 25, of Hyannis, was also arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor.
A Hyannis News journalist was traveling on Willow Street and Yarmouth Road when he witnessed the tow truck swerve over the solid white center lines and then off the right side of the road almost striking a pole, police say. The journalist informed police he had recorded it with his dash cam and uploaded the video footage to YouTube.
Both Fenton and O’Donnell will be arraigned in Barnstable District Court.

Man Receives 4 Month Prison Sentence For Calling Bomb Threat To Delay Flight!!!

An Ohio man who called in a bomb threat to Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky International Airport so he would avoid missing his flight was sentenced Thursday to four months in prison and ordered to pay a fine.
Dana Carter of Dayton made a series of calls to the airport claiming there was a bomb on a Dallas, Texas-bound United Airlines flight in October.
The 40-year-old allegedly made the false reports because he was worried he was going to miss his flight.
The original flight ended up being canceled because of the threat and Carter was placed on another flight for Dallas less than two hours later, the Dayton Daily News reported.
Carter’s attorney admitted the false threat was a “foolish act,” the Daily News reported.
In addition to jail-time, Carter has been ordered to pay $7,700 in restitution to United Airlines for the canceled flight.
After his release, Carter will be on federal probation for three years.

5 Month Old Baby Burned To Death!!

NATCHITOCHES, La. (AP) – Louisiana authorities say a 25-year-old woman is accused of burning a 6-month-old boy to death.
The state fire marshal’s office said in a news release Monday that Felicia Marie-Nicole Smith of Natchitoches was arrested Saturday on a charge of first-degree murder in the death Tuesday of Levi Cole Ellerbe.
The burned baby was found more than an hour after his mother reported him kidnapped Tuesday night. The mother told Natchitoches police two strangers banged on her door and sprayed her with a chemical. Police say she ran away and came back to find her son was gone.
He was found after a woman reported a fire near some railroad tracks. He died in a hospital.
Fire marshal’s spokeswoman Ashley Rodrigue won’t comment about a possible motive.

RATCHABURI — It seemed like just another alcohol-soaked karaoke rager for a Ratchaburi mechanic, only this time he blacked out and woke to find his penis was no longer there.
The man, identified only as Suwit, woke up in the emergency room of a Ratchaburi hospital Sunday with serious injuries including a severed penis. Doctors were unable to reattach it because it was not delivered to the hospital with him. The penis was never found.
Suwit told local police that he had just moved from his hometown of Trang to Ratchaburi, just a few hours west of Bangkok, to work in a garage. After he got off work Saturday night, he went to a karaoke parlor with colleagues and proceeded to get wasted. His next recollection was waking at the hospital with his injuries.
He also has no leads on the fate of his penis, saying he has never fought with anyone since relocating there.
Suwit also appeared to have received several blows to the head and face by a blunt object and was bleeding from the ear.
Lt. Teerawat Thongyad of Ban Pong police said witnesses saw a black pickup truck dump Suwit off at the hospital and leave in hurry. He added Suwit’s colleagues will be brought in for questioning, and that security camera footage is being reviewed to identify the truck driver in hope of finding the perpetrator.

WICHITA COUNTY (KFDX/KJTL) – A woman from Katy, Texas was arrested in Wichita County for allegedly attempting to smuggle meth to a James V. Allred Unit inmate convicted of capital murder.
Sara Elizabeth Russell, 29, was given bond of $10,000 for involvement in getting a prohibited substance into a correctional facility.
A state investigator was notified that an Allred mailroom employee found a bulge behind a photo on a handmade card.
When the employee pulled on the photo, she saw a clear package with a white powdery substance which later tested positive for meth.
Investigators said there were handwritten instructions in the package to tape the outside edges shut.
Authorities also said the name and address was written so it was almost unreadable and there were also handwritten initials “RTS” for return to sender.
The card also had a label that stated return to sender attempted, not known. The return address was Jason Burkett, an inmate at Allred.
The investigator interviewed Burkett and said Burkett admitted he made the card and mailed it to Russell, but denied he mailed any drugs or asked anyone to mail him drugs.
The Texas Department of Public Safety Crime Lab found fingerprints on the package and said they belonged to Russell.
The investigator alleged Burkett mailed the card to Russell with pre-arranged directions to put meth in it then have it returned to him.
Burkett is serving life sentences for the murders of two Conroe, Texas boys in 2001.
Burkett’s co-defendant was executed for the murder of the mother of one boy.

An Iowa man has been jailed after police said he chased several young children while making threats of kidnapping and cannibalism.
King Kong Choul, 47, of Storm Lake, Iowa, was charged with first degree harassment.
Police said the incident occurred about 9:45 p.m. July 11. Choul was located at an apartment building and arrested the following afternoon.
According to a police report obtained by Newsweek, Choul approached the children near the apartment building where he chased them and hurled his threats.
Witnesses said the man threatened to “cut them up into small pieces and eat them,” and informed the children that “he had a bag of salt and would put salt on them as seasoning after he cut them into pieces.”
The report says Choul also approached a mother with her 1-year-old baby and told her he would kidnap the child. The mother told police that after being pursued by Choul, she ducked into an apartment to hide. She said that Choul would repeatedly look in the windows of the apartment and bang on them.
Storm Lake police said that alcohol probably played a factor.
The Storm Lake Pilot Tribune reported that Choul had just been released from the county jail after a third-offense public intoxication arrest on July 7.
Choul was booked into the Buena Vista County Jail on a $2,000 bond, reports the Pilot Tribune

He became very depressed, suffered from eating disorders and even attempted suicide.

According to an affidavit, Hurley and the child were alone at a home in Tarpon Springs early Tuesday evening when the mother came home from work and noticed the child was choking.
She grabbed the child, ran outside and screamed for help. Neighbors came to her aid, one of which held the baby upside down while the mother took her two index fingers and pulled the wipe out of the child’s mouth, the affidavit states.
When officers arrived, Hurley told police he “knows this looks bad,” and characterized the matter as a “freak accident,” adding that he couldn’t remember exactly what had happened, the affidavit continues.
Officers said the baby wipe was “completely saturated in blood.” When the wipe was opened for further examination, officers noticed areas where blood was not present, leading detectives to believe it wasn’t swallowed by accident, but that someone had purposefully balled it up and inserted it into the child’s throat, police said.
