Dollar Store Manager Shoots Shoplifter!!

A Family Dollar store manager is facing a criminal charge after authorities said he chased down and shot in the direction of a man suspected of stealing Dove soap bars and motor oil from the Lake Worth shop.
The incident began at about 8:30 p.m. Saturday at the Family Dollar store on South Dixie Highway and 12th Avenue South.
As the suspected thief was walking away from the store, a silver Ford Taurus sped toward him and the man saw Liranzo with a handgun, deputies said in their report.
Liranzo yelled, “Give me my (expletive) back,” as he yanked on a green Publix tote bag the man had been carrying, according to the report.
After being shot, the man pulled a shopping cart into the middle of a street near Eighth Avenue South and laid near it, “desperate and hoping someone would stop to help him,” according to the report. He was taken to JFK Medical Center in Atlantis and treated for a gunshot wound to his left ankle.
Witnesses told deputies that they heard a gunshot and saw a “suspicious” gray car. One told investigators he saw the man running toward him complaining about being shot, so he gave him a Band-Aid.

What we don’t get is why some people in retail give a fuck that someone stole from the store they work at, it isn’t like they personally stole the item from you or that the money is coming out of your check.. In this incident of fuckery this shoplifter stole from the dollar store, it wasn’t like he stole from a high end store, the items that were shoplifted probably didn’t even total $5 dollars!!!
