Just imagine how many black folks back then lost their lives over frivolous shit that they may have not even done, just ran into a white person/s having a bad day!! It was a time where blacks were fighting for their Civil Rights and a time where white folks were lynching blacks for the fun of it in the south!! This lady has had to live with the fact that her fabrications led to a teen being gruesomely murdered for the majority of her life. I have to admit that this fuckery has done nothing but enraged me because this all could of been avoided, but it was a different time back then where being black meant you could catch an ass kicking or lynching for the fuck of it and no one would be held accountable for it!
