Stephen Walker, 38, and another man were high and having sex in the truck, which was parked in a lot near Kennedy Airport, when a jilted boyfriend of one of the men arrived at the scene, police sources said.
The sudden appearance of the ex-boyfriend startled the men, who decided to ditch the scene, according to what sources said Walker told them.
“I crashed because we were having sex,” Walker allegedly told cops. “Yes, I was driving the truck. Yes we did crystal meth.”
The truck slammed into the back of a silver four-door sedan on Old Rockaway Blvd. and North Boundary Lane in Springfield Gardens, law enforcement sources said.
Then the truck rammed into a fence, and and its cabin was crushed.
Walker managed to escape — without his pants — and hid in an empty horse trailer at an animal shelter and screening facility for creatures arriving from abroad, sources said.
But after a few minutes he decided to leave the trailer to alert first responders to his lover, who was stuck inside the truck’s cabin, according to the sources. They said first responders used an extrication tool to remove the man, who was also naked from the waist down, and take him to Jamaica Hospital for treatment.
